A perfect start to the day with the white sausage breakfast
Wheat beer fans will get their money's worth in Bavaria between Neu-Ulm and Passau. A typical Bavarian white sausage breakfast is recommended as a good basis for an eventful day. A Bavarian folk wisdom says that the white sausages are no longer allowed to hear the bell ringing at 12 o'clock and therefore have to be eaten in the morning - that's not a big challenge for a Danube cyclist! Those with a sweet tooth should definitely try the regional pastry “Donauwelle”. The cake made of light and dark dough, which suggests the waves of the Danube, is refined with sour cherries, butter cream and cocoa.
