Along French, German and Luxembourgish history on the Moselle cycle path
The Moselle rises in the French Southern Vosges at the Col de Bussang, touches the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and after around 550 kilometers flows into the Rhine at the Deutsches Eck. The official signage for the Moselle cycle path begins in Thionville, France, as “Chemin de la Moselle” and ends 275 kilometers further in Koblenz. The German Moselle cycle path starts in the small town of Perl and runs on mostly asphalted routes separated from car traffic, largely without gradients and close to the river bank.
