River promenades, inns or market squares invite you to linger and offer the best conditions for a successful city trip by bike.
Exciting sights for young and old
Ulm is right on the border between Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. The city is best known for the Ulm Minster with the highest church tower in the world. Modern architecture characterizes the Bavarian sister city of Neu-Ulm. Further along the Danube you pass Günzburg with Legoland - the amusement park is an exciting cycling stop, especially for families.
The Danube and the historic old town characterize Neuburg an der Donau more than anything else. The oldest Protestant church building, also called the “Bavarian Sistine”, can be visited there. The quality of Bavarian beer has its origins in Ingolstadt: the Bavarian Purity Law was passed here in 1516. The Audi Forum offers automobile and technology. Soon after you will pass Regensburg. The UNESCO World Heritage city was the scene of German and European history. Cyclists come to Passau at almost 600 kilometers. Because of its location on the three rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz, Passau is also called the three-river city.
